The JD stuff is good for the life of the tire, and protects the rim from corrosion, dwhereas the Slime folks tell you you have to change it out every few years or it will corrode the rims.

First off I only use my 763 several times a week but i still get occasional tire problem. I now have a 1/2 wide narrow slit in the center tread on a good 10x16.5 tire. I tried green slime and that didnt help. I usually plug my own tires when they have nail/screw holes but this one is a slit instead of a hole.

Foam filled tires suck! I have a set on an 85xt case and it is terribly rough riding, horrible traction, and they are heavy heavy heavy. Mine are worn out and I am going to replace them with a set of McLaren industries pneumatic tires ( the kind with the holes in them). The TRC sealant fills a lot of holes and when you get new tires just drill a hole in the old one before removing it, drain the sealant out, remove the tire, scrape the excess sealant to the bottom and scoop it out, then save it for the next time or put it in the new tire.

Anyone ever looked at water filled or weighted tires on a smaller bobcat like my 530? I was thinking the weighted tires would give a little extra counterweight for lift and help with traction without disrupting the balance of the machine.
