I was also going to get a second 48" toothed bucket for digging and rough grading. I'm in the North East with rocky soil. I test drove the sk1550 and the ctx160 at GIE and I am biased towards the ditch witch. Both are very capable machines. One thing I would have to change immediately with the Vermeer is you have to stand on the platform to move it. I always walk behind my machine when loading and unloading in my dump trailer.
